Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean walking weekend - 16/17th January

A fantastic weekend trip to the beautiful Forest of Dean and Wye Valley on the Welsh/English border. On Saturday 16th January we meet for a 12.30pm start at the Speech House Woods car park (GL16 7EH) and do a beautiful walk through the Forest of Dean including Speech House, Cannop Ponds and Edge End (approx. 8 miles and 4hrs in total).

We stay overnight in Ross-on-Wye at the nearby Premier Inn hotel and on the Sunday we do a 5hr (9.5 mile) circular hike that includes seeing the iconic Symonds Yat rock by the River Wye, Highmeadow Woods, more stunning forests, the small village of Staunton and many more delightful features on the way, finishing around 2pm.

Both hikes are fully guided and it will be a lovely weekend in stunning countryside. (Rating 2.5) Any questions please email info@themountaincoach.com
