Silverstone & Stowe Marathon hike - Good Friday 26th March

The first Marathon Hike of 2027 with a fantastic new circular route in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire close to the home of Formula 1 racing! We start at 8am and finish soon after 5pm, so about 9hrs in total.

This 26.2 mile route starts and finishes in the historic town of Buckingham and the route takes in the very impressive Stowe Park including the Corinthian Arch and Stowe School. Heading along parts of the Ouse Valley Way past Abbey House and then through the woods close to the iconic Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit and then through Bucknell Woods and through Silverstone Village before going to Whittlebury and past the famous hotel and golf course and alongside the racing circuit again and back through Stowe Woods and Wolfe's Obelisk before returning to Buckingham. 

A great challenge, an historic and picturesque route, an amazing achievement plus a fantastic Medal at the end! A wonderful day and fully guided throughout (Rating 4)
