Pendle Hill & Malham Cove hiking weekend - 13/14th March
A fantastic weekend of hiking with two stunning hikes. On Saturday 13th March we meet for 1pm at the village of Barley (BB12 9JX) in Lancashire for the historic hike up Pendle Hill (557m high). Famous for the Pendle Witches trial of 1612, this historic place offers wonderful views all around and includes Lower Ogden reservoir and will be for approx. 3.5hrs in total.
We then stay overnight at the Burnley Premier Inn hotel nearby and on the Sunday 14th March we head to Malham in Yorkshire for a brilliant new version of the iconic Malham Cove hike and also including Janet's Foss Waterfall, Gordale Scar and Malham Tarn. This hike will be for approx. 5hrs in total finishing about 2.30pm. (Rating 2.5)
