New Ilam & Dovedale hike (Peak District) - Saturday 9th January

A beautiful new circular hike in the Peak District early in the new year! We meet for a 9.30am start at the National Trust car park at Ilam Hall (DE6 2AZ) and this stunning hike includes the impressive Ilam Hall heading to Stanshope and then through Hall Dale down to the River Dove and along Dove Dale, past Ilam Rock and Lover's Leap to the famous stepping stones, then around Thorpe Cloud to the village of Thorpe and back along the Limestone Way and the Manifold Trai to Ilam. About 9.5 miles in total and 5hrs, so we should finish about 2.30pm. Fully guided throughout (Rating 2.5)
