Llyn Peninsula New Year Special weekend - 2nd/3rd January
Start the first weekend of 2027 with two stunning coastal hikes on the beautiful Llyn Peninsula in North Wales! On Saturday 2nd January we meet at the National Trust car park by the coast at Morfa Nefyn for 1pm. We do a wonderful hike for approx. 3.5hrs that includes Porth Dinllaen and the world famous Ty Coch Inn on the beach, along the Wales Coast Path and hopefully a majestic sunset from Borth Wen looking out to the Irish Sea.
We then head to the Premier Inn at Victoria Dock in Caernarfon and stay overnight. On the Sunday we head down to the south of the Llyn Peninsula and do another great coastal path around the Cilan Headland from Porth Neigwl, around Porth Ceiriad and close to St Tudwal's Island West (where Bear Gryll's lives!) then across to Machroes and back to the start. Approx. 9.5 miles and 5hrs in total with several hills along the way.
Both hikes are truly stunning and fully guided. (Rating 2.5) What a fantastic way to start the New Year.
Hotel rooms are either twin/double sharing or own room for extra £25 supplement.
