Helvellyn & Lake District weekend trip - 24/25th January

A great weekend in the Lake District with a beautiful, picturesque walk (approx. 3hrs) on the Saturday afternoon meeting near Penrith for 1.30pm and then staying overnight at a Premier Inn hotel nearby. On Sunday we do the main hike up and down the iconic Helvellyn mountain (the 3rd highest peak in England at 950m high) from the Lake Thirlmere side - approx. 6hrs in total. This route is safe and best one to do during winter months even if we get some snow but you will be advised accordingly with the conditions. Amazing views and scenery and fully guided throughout.
