Scafell Pike (highest mountain in England!) weekend - 30th September/1st October

A fantastic weekend in Cumbria including climbing England's highest mountain - Scafell Pike! On Saturday 30th September we meet for a 1.30pm start at St. Bees near Whitehaven for a lovely Coastal hike for approx. 3hrs to stretch the legs, meet everyone in the group and see some stunning coastal views (It's also the official start point of Wainwright's famous Coast to Coast Walk!) We then head to the hotel and stay overnight at the Premier Inn at Whitehaven and on Sunday 1st October it's the main hike up and down Scafell Pike (978m) from Wasdale Head - approx. 6hrs in total starting by 9am and finishing by 3pm. Fully guided throughout and a great experience! (Rating 3)

Cost includes the guided hikes and hotel (food & drink not included but an evening meal is organised)
