Llyn Peninsula (North Wales) Xmas Special - 9/10th December

An amazing weekend trip which will be the last one before Christmas so Xmas Jumpers can be worn (optional!) on the stunning Llyn Peninsula in North Wales! On Saturday 9th December we meet near the village of Llithfaen on the north side of the Peninsula for 12.30pm and do a wonderful hike (approx. 3.5hrs) that includes Yr Eifl mountain with amazing views of the coast, Caernarfon Bay and the mountains of Snowdonia. We then head to the beautiful coastal town of Porthmadog where we are staying at the Premier Inn hotel.

On Sunday we drive along the south of the Peninsula past the coastal towns of Criccieth and Pwllheli before starting a 13 mile coastal hike from Llanbedrog to Llanengan that takes in breath taking scenery all the way from the famous 'Tin Man' sculpture on Mynydd Tir-y-cwmwd, the picturesque harbour village of Abersoch (from where you can see Bear Gryll's island!), Port Ceiriad beach and Porth Neigwl (known as Hell's Mouth!).... this is a fantastic coastal hike, not to be missed!
