Ironbridge and Loamhole Dingle hike - Saturday 16th August
A new and wonderful historic hike! This circular hike takes in the World Famous Ironbridge, the first bridge of its kind to be built, symbolising the start of the Industrial Revolution, in 1779 by Abraham Darby III that goes across the River Severn near Telford, in Shropshire.
Meet for a 9am start on Saturday 16th August at the Dale End car park at Ironbridge, near Telford (TF8 7NJ) this is a beautiful hike that includes exploring around the Ironbridge and its impressive heritage plus parts of the Severn Way and Monarch's Way and Loamhole Dingle! Approx. 8 miles in total and 4.5-5hrs with breaks. Fully guided throughout. (Rating 2).
