Helvellyn Mountain weekend trip - 20th/21st January

A great weekend in the Lake District with a beautiful, picturesque walk (approx. 3hrs) on the Saturday afternoon meeting at Little Salkeld, near Penrith for 1.30pm and then staying overnight at a Premier Inn hotel nearby. On Sunday we do the main hike up and down the iconic Helvellyn mountain (the 3rd highest peak in England) from the Lake Thirlmere side - approx. 6hrs in total. This route is safe and best one to do during winter even if we get some snow but you will be advised accordingly with the conditions. Amazing views and scenery and fully guided throughout.
