Hadrian's Wall hiking weekend - 4/5th November

A fantastic weekend trip with two great guided walks involving the iconic Hadrian's Wall! On Saturday 4th November we meet in Birdoswald at 1pm and we do a beautiful hike for approx. 4hrs (8 miles) that takes in Birdoswald Fort, Thirlwell Castle and Milecastle 48 along Hadrian's Wall - great examples of the ancient Roman ruins. We stay overnight in a Premier Inn hotel close to Carlisle and on Sunday we head towards Hexham and Housesteads Fort for a wonderful hike of approx. 5hrs (9.5 miles) that takes in Steel Rig and the majestic Sycamore Gap (known as the 'Robin Hood' tree after the 1991 Kevin Costner version was filmed here!)
