Carsington Water & Middleton Top Viewpoint hike - Saturday 4th January

The first hike of 2025! And it's a beautiful new hike just South of the Peak District between Ashbourne and Matlock. Starting at 9.30am from the Millfields Car Park (DE6 3JS) this is an 11 mile hike (approx. 5hrs) that goes fully around the stunning Carsington Water lake and also up to the Middleton Top viewpoint and partly along the Pennine Bridleway path looking down on the water. A lovely hike all year round and a great way to start the new year and burn off some calories! Fully guided throughout. (Rating 2.5)
