2023 Hiking Challenge Series - Peak District 3 - Sunday 7th May

Another of the fantastic 2023 Hiking Challenge Series hikes in the Peak District! This one is a 20 mile route starting from the lovely town of Baslow. We meet for a 8.30am start and the circular route should take about 9 hours so finish by 5.30pm. The route includes going past Chatsworth House, towards Bakewell, along the Monsal Trail, through Great Longstone to Calver, over the River Derwent, along Froggatt Edge and Curbar Edge past Eagle Stone and back to Baslow! A beautiful, scenic hike with a mix of terrain and a brilliant challenge and achievement. Fully guide throughout. (Rating 4).
