Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) New Year Special - 6/7th January

A wonderful weekend of mountains, hills, forests and waterfalls in the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) to start off the New Year! On Saturday 6th January we meet at 12.30pm at the Pont ar Daf car park (LD3 8NL) and do a spectacular circular hike (approx. 4hrs) in the mountains including the summits of Pen y Fan and Corn Du. We then stay at a Premier Inn hotel near Merthyr Tydfil and on the Sunday we head over to Craig-y-Nos Country Park for a fantastic hike (approx. 5.5hrs total) which also takes in the beautiful hills of Cribarth, the beautiful Nant Llech and the Henrhyd Falls (the highest in South Wales and also famous for being used as the Cave in the Batman film - The Dark Knight Rises!). An amazing weekend in South Wales not to be missed! Fully guided throughout. (Rating 3)
